NSW is a vast place

NSW population is just over 7.5 million and many us live regionally or rurally.  We consider ourselves the lucky ones. To live in such beautiful communities is a privilege but when it comes to medical care, specialist treatment and lifesaving surgeries, regional and rural families often must travel to our major cities to receive the care we need.

Why does Orange Health need our help?

Orange has a population of approximately 40,000; on the 16th March 2011, Orange Hospital amalgamated with Bloomfield Hospital, and is collectively known as Orange Health Service. In its current form, it is the largest rural hospital in NSW.

As the primary referral hospital for the whole of the Central West region; Orange Health Services has a 24-hour Emergency Department, a critical care unit for adults, coronary care, a cancer treatment unit, a burns and trauma unit, and much more.

Orange Health is a modern-day medical hub offering a diverse range of medical services to the community of Orange and wider, as it’s equipped with a helipad for aeromedical emergency services, it’s able to offer a medical service to those from all the isolated communities across the whole region.

How you can help families throughout the Orange region

Heartfelt Homes is coming to Orange!

We are meeting with Directors and the team of social workers on the ground at Orange Health where we will discuss how we can best work together to solve accommodation challenges for families.

Along with creating a strong hospital partnership, we are looking for the right accommodation partner for Orange, to whom we will refer all our families.  We are also really looking forward to meeting the Mayor, Cr John Davis OAM and the Director of Community Recreation and Cultural Services to let them know more about how we will be supporting Orange Health.

To ensure the successful establishment and longevity of our service in Orange, we are also offering 16 exclusive sponsorship opportunities for community minded businesses within Orange to be our ‘foundation partners’.

These 16 like-minded businesses will join us in establishing and providing this vital service to the people of Orange and surrounding areas in our first 12 months.
